Our Mission and Vision
The Listen Movement is a Community Creativity Development Program that is transforming the lives of creatives by providing essential resources, education, community and support for creatives of all disciplines.
We offer accessible workshops, events and resources that are a collaboration with local creatives and businesses. These collaborations are the backbone of our 6-month Creative Development Program. The community has everything that is needed for any of us to learn/grow, but it lacks the infrastructure or pathways for someone to follow. That’s where we come in!
Our Program acts as a map to help creatives navigate the bumpy landscape of the creative industry. Then we provide mentorship and support along the way! During our 6-month program, participants will find themselves in the Bee Garden at Green anchors understanding the foundation of life, experimenting during the “Lyric Lab” at Artichoke Music or even hosting an event start to finish. It all depends on their specific goals and the best way we can help them prepare to reach those goals.
There is too much “one size fits all” education.
Building our curriculum around the creative allows us to provide actionable education and real life opportunities that align with their vision. Gaining hands on experience can expedite the learning process by 75%, which is why we designed our program to immerse creatives in the industry as much as possible. We tap into our community infrastructure to provide mentors, educators, venues and much more for our members.

What is the Creative Fund?
The Creative Fund is a program that helps remove the financial boundaries for creatives. The resources in this fund will be used to bring projects to life and to help creatives create, but the awardees will not be provided the finances directly. The awardees will collaborate with our team to build a plan that will be most sustainable for the awardee. More info coming soon!
